Sound equipment and requirements
We provide all the equipment we need to call and play a ceilidh. This includes all sound and a small amount of lighting equipment. For events where there are more than 300 people, we may need to hire (at cost) additional kit. This can be discussed when booking.
All we need is the following:
- A stage (or at least a flat area) about 4x3m
- A double power outlet, not shared with anything else, and within 5m of the stage area
- 4 upright chairs with no arms

Disco, speaches and other music
If you require music for a first dance or for other occassion, please ask in advance, just to make sure it’ll work perfectly with our setup. We don’t carry a cd player anymore, but there are alternatives we can easily do. If you can provide a mobile phone, we can almost certainly connect it to our system.
If a microphone and sound equipment is required for speaches, please ask
We can also provide out system for a disco, if you can provide the playlist. Please discuss this with us when booking.
We strongly recommend any music is downloaded and can be played offline: Not all venues have a good internet connection!
